GS1 have produced a new brochure about Traceability and how GS1 solutions can help.

It explains what traceability is and how the GS1 traceability standard supports business needs such as food safety, patient safety, combatting counterfeiting, improving sustainability and meeting regulatory requirements.

GS1 Healthcare Reference Book: Standards in Action

The first edition of the GS1 Healthcare Reference Book (Edition 2009/2010) is now available and provides a wealth of information on global standards in the Healthcare supply chain, adoption initiatives, lessons learnt from implementation projects, regulatory developments and more. Experts from different countries and different backgrounds share their perspectives on, and experiences with, supply chain projects, patient safety initiatives and regulations.
